Privacy policy

DOBO WORKSPACE SOLUTION PRIVATE LIMITED, operating as Turant Logistics, is the data fiduciary for the personal data described here. We process it under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect, and why

Who sees what
We apply data minimisation by role, and this is enforced by the software rather than by policy alone:
- Riders see only the task in front of them, and never your real phone number — calls go through a masked proxy.
- Transport operators see a manifest with parcel counts, weights and destinations. They do not see customer names, phone numbers, declared values or prices.
- Franchisees see only shipments within their own territory.
- Support and operations see what is needed to resolve your issue. Every access to another person's data is itself logged.
Who we share it with
- Payment gateways, to process a payment.
- Communication providers, to send WhatsApp, SMS, push and email messages.
- Partner carriers, where your shipment travels outside our own network — limited to what is needed to deliver it.
- Government authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erase your personal data. We will anonymise your personal identifiers; the underlying shipment facts are retained where tax law or a commercial record requires it, and we will tell you which.
- Withdraw consent for marketing messages at any time. Transactional messages about an active shipment continue, because they are necessary to perform the service.
- Nominate a person to exercise these rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Complain to us, and then to the Data Protection Board of India.
Exercise any of these by emailing contact@turantlogistics.com from your registered address, or from within the app. We respond within 30 days.
How we protect it
- Encryption in transit, and at rest for sensitive fields.
- Identity documents and bank details encrypted, displayed masked, never written to logs.
- Role-based access with audit logging of every privileged access.
- Two-factor authentication required for staff accounts that can see personal data or move money.
- Card data never touches our systems — payment gateways handle it end to end.
Children
Our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 18.
Cookies
This website uses only what is necessary to run and to understand aggregate usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Breach notification
If a personal data breach occurs, we notify the Data Protection Board of India and every affected person as the DPDP Act requires, with what happened, what data was involved and what to do.
Grievance officer
